Legislative Influence

AGC’s Public Affairs Department protects the interests of the commercial construction industry. The team works closely with a broad range of elected and non-elected public officials to shape industry-informed legislation and regulations whenever possible. Read through the core policy issues for additional information on AGC’s legislative priorities and goals.

Publications

Following each regular legislative session, the Public Affairs team prepares a comprehensive report, highlighting new laws impacting the construction industry. The reports note which bills passed, which were modified, and which AGC was able to defeat. These reports are distributed to the AGC membership.
