Safety and Health Councils Any employee from any AGC member is invited to attend and participate in the chapter’s Safety & Health Council. Safety council activities include educational opportunities on best safety practices, construction safety information, peer-to-peer networking, and reviewing and recommending safety-related regulatory and legislative direction for the chapter. Meetings are held every other month in the Portland Metro area. The chapter is also trying to re-energize an active safety committee in the Rogue Valley, where attendees can receive safety training, information, and help in finding new ways to promote safety.
