Under AGC’s by-laws, the Chapter is required to hold an business and membership meeting every year. This year’s meeting is Friday, January 18, 2013 at the Salem Convention Center, 200 Commercial Street SE in Salem, Oregon.
The annual business meeting is an excellent way to learn what the chapter is doing for you, your company, and the industry, meet with chapter leaders and have your voice heard on the issues that are important to you. The day will consist of the Recognition of Safety Excellence (ROSE) Awards and PRIDE Safety Awards lunch a special keynote featuring Tom Kramer, a Portland area employee benefits attorney. Mr. Kramer will provide some guidance about how to respond to the challenges of implementing the Affordable Healthcare Act, also known as “Obamacare.”
The day will also feature the Chapter’s annual membership and board of directors meetings. The afternoon will conclude with the installation of the 2013 officers’ banquet.
