New Interpretation of Insurance Licensing Requirements

The Construction Contractors Board has begun enforcing a new interpretation of its insurance licensing requirements. The CCB now interprets its statutes and rules to require one license per insurance policy. As such, the CCB is not currently permitting any more than one license to be associated with one insurance policy.

AGC has challenged this interpretation and is working with the CCB to find a solution. Once there is a resolution of the issue, we will send another notification to our membership.

Please contact Kirsten Adams, 503-682-3363, with any questions or comments.
