Project Engineer Bootcamp

Three Units, Five Sessions Per Unit (Students welcome to register for individual units)

This Bootcamp picks up where higher education left off and is intended for interns or project engineers that are early in their construction careers, including graduates with up to seven years of experience. The Bootcamp also benefits craft leaders or administrative staff looking to transition into a project engineering role.

Superintendent Bootcamp

Superintendent Bootcamp is designed to expand the knowledge of construction professionals who are looking to grow in their career. Ideal candidates for this course include field and project engineers, forepersons, assistant superintendents, and anyone looking to gain a thorough understanding of the commercial construction building process. Sessions include a deep dive into building a project from the ground up.

Commercial Print Reading Fundamentals

February 16–March 27
Live Sessions: Wednesdays, 4:30–6 pm

This hybrid course allows students to complete textbook reading assignments, online videos, and online workbook exercises during the week at their own pace (three–four hours per week) and connect LIVE weekly with the instructor, and other learners for a one hour “Live Learning Lab” via Zoom to review workbook answers and ask questions. Registration fee includes $150 textbook Print Reading for Construction, Residential and Commercial.

Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing Print Reading

April 5–May 8

This course builds upon the foundation of the fundamentals course by expanding the understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Skills learned in this course will be utilized throughout a construction career, including reading, and understanding different types of heating and cooling systems, HVAC symbols, electrical terms, electrical schedules, electrical drawing types, plumbing systems, plumbing fixtures, plumbing diagrams, and an understanding of the three stages of plumbing installation.

Construction Master Pro Calculator Course

Live Sessions, Mondays, April 1–April 29, 4:30–6 pm

In this course you will gain the confidence to use the Construction Master Pro construction calculator to increase productivity. Live learning will take place through a hybrid classroom. Course content includes site, foundations, carpentry, finishes, commercial construction, and advanced problem solving.
