Join Us at the Safety Awards Luncheon

Emerick Construction, 2012 Safety Awards Luncheon

The 2013 Oregon-Columbia Chapter Safety Awards Luncheon, sponsored by SAIF Corporation, will be held on Friday, January 18 at the Salem Conference Center. Don’t miss this opportunity to join us to recognize our award winning companies who achieved the AGC Safety PRIDE designation or the Recognition of Safety Excellence (ROSE) award in 2012.

The AGC Safety PRIDE designation is awarded to contractor members of the Oregon-Columbia Chapter who demonstrate safety excellence in our industry. This statewide, voluntary program is recognized by Oregon OSHA.

The ROSE award recognizes chapter leaders in safety excellence, provides an excellent way to document your achievements in safety, and offers an opportunity to receive well-deserved recognition from industry peers. It is also a great tool to conduct a self-evaluation of your safety programs. The ROSE award is the first step to participating in AGC of America’s Construction Safety Excellence Award (CSEA) competition.

The Safety Awards Luncheon is held as part of the chapter’s Annual Business Meeting. There are committee meetings, the chapter membership meeting, a board of directors meeting (all members are welcome and encouraged to attend), installation of the new chapter officers, and plenty of networking opportunities in between. This year we are pleased to have a special keynote presentation: Obamacare is Here – What You Need to Know to Prepare Your Business, presented by Tom Kramer from Bullard Law. You can attend all or parts of the event; more information is available here.

We look forward to seeing you there! Please register and secure your place before time runs out.
