Safety is a core value of AGC, and we support our members in accomplishing their individual safety goals. AGC provides professional expertise, creative solutions, and value added resources to give you the competitive advantage and help foster sound safety programs.
Safety and Health Councils
The chapter’s Safety and Health Council meets bi-monthly meetings from October through June. It provides educational opportunities, construction safety information, and OSHA/OR-OSHA/DOSH/MSHA legislative direction for the Oregon-Columbia Chapter. Meetings are held in the Portland Metro area.
The chapter also has the Rogue Valley Safety Committee, which seeks to expand the safety and health of the construction industry in the Rogue Valley region. In its monthly meetings, attendees receive safety training, information, and help in finding new ways to promote safety. (link to safety committee page)
