Prevailing Wage Rate Information and Seminars

The Bureau of Labor and Industries (BOLI) publishes Oregon state prevailing wage rates in January and July of each year. A second publication, Definitions of Covered Occupations for Public Works Contracts in Oregon, contains the important occupations definitions that are used to classify duties performed on public works projects.

BOLI has notified AGC that both of these publications are being amended as of January 1, 2012.

To download the updated information please visit BOLI’s website by clicking here. BOLI is no longer automatically mailing copies of these publications, however hard copies are available upon request by calling 971-673-0838.

AGC has also received information regarding BOLI’s Winter/Spring Prevailing Wage Rate Seminars. These seminars are free of charge and aim to teach contractors prevailing wage rate law basics, recent changes to the law, how to determine coverage, and your roles and responsibilities. The seminars also count towards continuing education requirements through the Construction Contractors Board.
