Nominations Open for AGCWA–WSDOT Partnering for Excellence in Contract Administration Awards

Contractors for Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) projects are encouraged to nominate projects for the Partnership for Excellence in Contract Administration Awards, sponsored by AGC of Washington and WSDOT. Presented annually at the AGC–WSDOT Annual Meeting in January, these awards recognize and encourage extraordinary achievements by the contractor/WSDOT partnership responsible for delivering transportation projects in a timely, professional and responsive manner while also considering the needs of others affected by the project.

Each one of WSDOT’s projects brings a unique set of challenges, requiring the contractor and WSDOT to work together to solve problems and identify potential issues before they happen. We want to recognize exceptional collaborative efforts made to deliver projects on time, while understanding the needs of the traveling public. There are various awards categories based on project size and geographic location.

A valid application package must include a completed nomination form with required photos must be received by WSDOT on or before October 18, 2021. Please share this information with others in your company that would be interested.

The Partnership for Excellence in Contract Administration Awards webpage has also been updated to include the 2021 forms.

* Please note a few changes for the 2021 awards:

  • Nominations will only be accepted using the electronic submittal process
  • Submittal process has changed – directions are outlined in the Nomination Form Instructions Page
  • New optional submittals allowed with nomination package

If you have any questions, or need additional information, please don’t hesitate to contact WSDOT’s Heidi Jensen, 360-705-7908.

2022 AGC-WSDOT Annual Meeting is tentatively scheduled for January 6 at the Emerald Queen Ballroom and Conference Center in Fife, Wash. Registration will be available in late November.
