Partner Spotlight: Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt

AGC would not be able to have the successful events and meetings without our generous partners! As a benefit of our yearly Partner Program, we spotlight some of our member partner companies. To learn more about them, we ask that they complete a list of questions:

What are the overall mission and goals of your company and how do they relate to serving the construction industry?

With more than 175 attorneys in eight offices, Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt is among the largest law firms in the Pacific Northwest. Our clients count on us for full-spectrum legal services to help them achieve goals throughout their business lives. Schwabe’s understanding of six key ‎industry sectors—real estate and construction; healthcare and life sciences; manufacturing, retail, and distribution; natural resources; technology; and transportation, ports, and maritime—allows us to help clients achieve success through ideas, advice, and exceptional ‎legal counsel.

Schwabe follows an innovative real estate and construction industry focused approach to serving our clients. With the organization of ‎our ‎attorneys into industry groups, we are a one-stop shop for legal expertise in all facets of the ‎construction ‎industry. Our clients can be assured that our team will ‎get to know all ‎aspects of their organizations, which will enable more comprehensive, timely legal advice. Leaders in their fields, the attorneys on the Construction Service Team specialize in all areas of law applicable to the construction industry.

What is the value of your partnership with AGC, and how does it support your company’s purpose?

Our firm has a long-standing relationship with AGC, and our attorneys have served in several different leadership roles over the years. This relationship has been, and continues to be, valuable. AGC is the leading source for construction industry knowledge in our region, and is consistently up to speed on the most pressing issues facing contractors. AGC provides an opportunity for our attorneys to learn how best to serve our clients by connecting with leaders in the industry.

What’s something you would like other members to know about you?

In June 2019, Schwabe, Williamson and Wyatt commissioned a survey to learn more about the state of construction and commercial real estate industry in the Pacific Northwest. The survey results, featuring insights from over 700 regional industry executives, will be shared at an October 1, 2019 symposium exclusively designed for industry pros in Oregon and Washington.
