Spotlight on Lyn St. James: Opening Keynote Speaker
This convention is a driver’s dream with winning keynote speakers such as world renowned Indy racer Lyn St. James.
Lyn St. James is a professional IndyCar driver with Indy races including CART Championship and Indy Racing League to her name. She is one of seven women who have qualified for the Indianapolis 500, and became the first woman to win the Indianapolis 500 Rookie of the Year award. Lyn has Seven Indianapolis 500 starts in nine years to her name, including six consecutive starts (1992-97). She also has two victories at the 24 Hours of Daytona, and one win at the 12 Hours of Sebring. In 1994, she founded the Women in the Winner’s Circle Foundation, an organization for the education, training, and advancement of women in automotive fields.
