Oregon DEQ Announcement: Grant Funding Available

Oregon DEQ has announced they may have nearly $300,000 remaining from older grants that will be made available for non-road diesel engine repowers. Here is the information DEQ has shared with AGC:

DEQ is soliciting project ideas to repower older diesel engines from interested Oregon vehicle owners. The financial assistance from these unexpended funds may cover up to 25 percent of eligible repower costs and will require scrapping the older engine. The updated equipment must operate in the state at least 50 percent of the time for three years following the repower. Projects in the past have included repowering of engines in construction, agricultural, marine and other nonhighway applications. If there are more requests than funding is available for, awarded projects will be based on selection criteria outlined in the application materials.
