The AGC North and Central Coast Area Council hosted its second annual legislative dinner on Friday, October 13 in Astoria. Members and local officials gathered to network and discuss the construction industry’s impact on the local economy and community with featured guests Senator Betsy Johnson and Representative Brad Witt.
Council chair Greg Morrill (Bergerson Construction Company) and vice chair Jared Rickenbach (Rickenbach Construction) facilitated the conversation between the members and the elected officials, with topics ranging from the recent adoption of a statewide transportation package to the ongoing workforce development issue and getting career technical education back in the schools.
