The 43rd Annual Excellence in Concrete Awards are presented by the Oregon Chapter of the American Concrete Institute (OACI) and the Oregon Concrete & Aggregate Producers Association (OCAPA). The awards were presented at a banquet held at the Salem Convention Center on May 18.
The Oregon Excellence in Concrete (EIC) Awards is a way to recognize projects that use concrete in extensive or innovative ways. Entries for this well-known and prestigious award are judged as best-of-category and include bridges, commercial, ICF, residential, public facility, craftsmanship, parking, transportation, industrial, utility, and any other category that applies from year to year.
This year, 12 projects were recognized with Excellence in Concrete Awards and another 19 were recognized as finalists for the competition.
