AGCA Diversity & Inclusion Roundtables

Thursday, May 13 or Thursday, May 27, 2021 | Online | 11 am–1 pm
Registration Price: FreeAGC of America is pleased to offer roundtable discussions on diversity and inclusion efforts and challenges in the construction industry. AGCA is offering two separate sessions in May for you to choose from. You only need to register for one session. The first will take place on Thursday, May 13, 2021 and the second will take place on Thursday, May 27, 2021. Both meetings will be held virtually from 11 am–1 pm.

The discussions are highly interactive and intended for individuals working for A/E/C firms who are diversity and inclusion practitioners and/or the individual responsible for implementing their company’s diversity and inclusion efforts. This meeting is not open to outside industry consultants.

Meeting Registration

In order to ensure active discussion, space will be limited to 25 participants. Priority will be given to AGC member construction firms that have taken the Culture of CARE pledge. AGCA reserves the right to cancel your registration or place you on the waitlist to allow individuals from AGC member construction firms priority registration.

AGCA will also limit the attendance to one individual per company. All registrations will be first-come, first-served. If you attempt to register and find that the meeting is closed (at capacity), or you learn that another individual from your firm has already signed up, please contact Brynn Huneke at brynn.huneke@agc.org and ask to be placed on the waitlist. AGCA will monitor this list closely, and if a seat opens up for either session, they will let you know. AGCA reserves the right to cancel your registration if more than one individual from your company registers for either session.

Meeting Agenda

It’s your meeting – and you set the agenda! Participants set the agenda for the roundtable discussions. AGCA will poll the participants in advance of the meeting to identify the topics and discussion leaders. Although highly educational, there are no formal presentations. This roundtable event is meant to foster peer-to-peer learning and discussion of the unique opportunities, situations and challenges for individuals working on diversity and inclusion issues at a construction firm.

How to Connect to the Virtual Roundtable

After registering, you will receive a standard confirmation email. Prior to the event, registrants will also receive an Outlook calendar invitation from brynn.huneke@agc.org with a link to “Join Microsoft Teams Meeting.” You must click the link to “virtually” connect to the Diversity & Inclusion Roundtable on the day of the event; please be sure to accept and save that invitation.
