AGC Safety Team: Raising the Bar

Two of AGC’s safety and loss control consultants have achieved their professional certification offered by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP): Shelley Nasby and Andrew Haymart.

Shelley, who is the Southern Oregon regional loss control consultant based in Coos Bay, has passed the comprehensive exam for her certification as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP). This certification is regarded as the most recognized and prestigious in industry. Shelley also holds a master’s degree in business administration.

Andy, who is our statewide industrial hygiene technician based in Corvallis, has passed the comprehensive exam as a Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST). This certification is a driving force in safety and health competency in the construction industry and is widely regarded as a high measure of professional standing.

Shelley and Andy have been on the AGC safety and loss control team for more than a year. With their professional approach to their work they continue to grow and demonstrate the value of the safety and health profession to their industry and their peers. Our chapter is fortunate to have Shelley and Andy on our team to advance the safety effort and culture to higher levels for our membership.
