2015 AGCA Awards Competitions Now Open

AGCA_awardsMembers and chapters encouraged to apply; deadline is 10/31.

AGC of America is proud to announce the launch of the 2015 AGC/Alliant Build America competition. Also now open is the AGC in the Community competition. All member companies (and chapters interested in AGC in the Community) in good standing who meet the competition requirements are encouraged to apply. An online submission system makes the process easy and convenient.

After a successful first year, the 2015 Alliant Build America Awards will again include a “Partnering Excellence” category to recognize those projects best epitomizing the principles of partnering. This award is similar to the Marvin M. Black awards given out prior to 2014. Those looking to apply for this award should choose the AGC Build America Marvin M. Black Partnering Competition application when starting a new entry. This competition has different questions and criteria than the rest of the Build America categories do.

A couple of changes to note:

  • Build America: Build New and Building Renovation are now composed of three distinctions each: Under $10M; $11M to $199M; $200M or More. This more accurately reflects the current market.
  • Build America: A Construction Management Civil category has been added for contractors wishing to submit civil projects completed using the Construction Management project delivery system.
  • AGC in the Community: There is now a minimum $150 donation fee to AGC Charities required with each AGC in the Community submission.

Otherwise, most remains the same!

Click here to begin your entry today.

The final deadline for all AGC/Alliant Build America entries and AGC in the Community entries is Friday, Oct. 31, 2014 at 11:59 PM EST. For more information, visit the AGCA Awards page at www.agc.org/awards.
