Canstruction Portland 2019 Can-Opener

This is the 23rd annual Canstruction Design, Build, Feed Competition. The event will be held in September 2019 to coincide with Oregon Food Bank’s Hunger Awareness Month. Canstruction is well past the Million Meal mark from the 20th anniversary and is now moving on to bigger and better things!

The CAN-OPENER will be Thursday, April 25 from 5:30–7:30 pm at David Evans and Associates, Inc., 2100 SW River Parkway. Light snacks and drinks will be provided. There will be an overview of the competition, sponsorship opportunities, and volunteer needs. They will also announce the winner of the Golden SPAM Award. Past participants, newbies, sponsors, and volunteers are encouraged to attend the meetings. It is a great way to network and get excited about the competition.

If your company or organization would like to participate in the 2019 event, please email info@canstructionpdx.org. The Canstruction competition is open to all companies who would like to participate. Each team must include one company from the architecture/engineering/construction (A/E/C) community. Companies are encouraged to team up with other organizations and companies for the event, and assistance is available in finding additional companies for your team.
