Peter
Friedmann is Federal Affairs
Counsel for the Oregon-Columbia Chapter of
AGC. Peter was born and raised in Seattle, a
graduate of Washington and ITS Law School,
and is now based in Washington DC. He served
on the personal staff of Oregon Senator Bob
Packwood and then as Counsel on the US
Senate Committee on Commerce, Science &
Transportation where he worked closely with
leaders of the Pacific Northwest
Congressional Delegation.
In
Washington DC, Peter tracks issues of
particular concern to Oregon–Columbia
Chapter members. He organizes and leads the
annual two-day Capitol Hill visits by
Chapter officers. Peter works with Chapter
staff and officers throughout the year
keeping Chapter members updated on Federal
developments impacting their businesses.
