How to Apply for a Grant

 

Before submitting a request to the foundation, an applicant should determine that the organization and type of project envisioned is eligible for consideration. Only written proposals will be considered. Proposals sent electronically or by fax will not be accepted.

Before a proposal can be considered by the foundation, the applicant must submit six copies of all of the following items:

  • Completed grant cover sheet
  • Narrative proposal about the organization and project
  • Detailed budget for the proposed project
  • Statements describing the financial condition of the organization/applicant

  • Documentation of organization's tax-exempt status

  • List of the organization's board of directors

Materials listed above should be included each time a proposal is submitted to the Foundation. All materials become the property of the foundation and cannot be returned to the applicant
